Coming Home

12/29/2012

Yesterday and today I have been traveling home and finally am back in France. I had a really great time in the states and I'm glad I had the chance to go. Here are a few photos from the flight back home!

Yes, I saw Obama in the airport.

Time Flies!

12/13/2012

I can't believe it's been a whole month since my last post! Well, I am now in the States and I've been enjoying my time here. Instead of writing about everything I've done so far, I'll just post a few photos.

These four shots probably don't make much sense but they're what I've been up to.

This shot, as well as the next were both taken when I was visiting a very good family friend (more like a sister actually) near Blacksburg.

This shot of Luke was taken just about two days ago. I realized it had been a while since I'd gotten out in order to take some photos and so we went to a nearby park, it was beautiful. Daniel, one of my best friends, came along and we had a blast. It was hilariously awesome.

Believe it or not, this last shot was actually one of the first I took when we got to the states. It's from the same park as the one before. Cool, right?

Hectic Times

10/31/2012

I've put a few busy weeks behind me and have plenty more ahead of me. Next week we leave for the states where I get to see my sister again! We'll be there for two months and it'll be nearly impossible to get everything done.

Well, on another note: I shot quite a bit in the past two days! Here are some of my favorites of the ones I got.

This next/last shot is technically not from the past two days but still very recent and I though I'd include it.

Weekend in Langen

10/23/2012

Luke and I went to Langen for the weekend! It was amazing. We went because there was a camp reunion, as there is every year. The people we were staying with were really nice and hospitable. I can't wait 'til camp next year!

We arrived on Friday and went bowling with the youth group after some worship. Around 2.30 am we finished bowling and went to McDonalds where we had a burger. After that we went to sleep around 3. Saturday we spent in Frankfurt and then went to a potluck at the FEG there. Sunday we had Camp Service, at the IJG, and I got to see a lot of familiar faces, which was wonderful. We had lunch at a Greek restaurant and then went to play some indoor soccer. At 7.39 pm our train left Langen and we got here around 11 pm. It was a really nice weekend.

Whoa, it's been a while!

10/08/2012

Sorry about that.

I've been busy with school, sports and the sorts. I feel like I'm getting back on track with everything except that I know in a few weeks' time that track is going to break off and I'll just fall into a bottomless pit. Alright, that might be a just a tad over-exaggerated. It's just going to be difficult when we go to Germany for two weeks and just a week later to the States for two months. School is going to be a challenge.

Anyway, about a week ago my family and I went on to a little town about a half an hour away from where we live and here's a few photos from that.

Yesterday was therapeutic.

9/17/2012

Just a relaxed day with no obligations. So I went out to think stuff over and of course I brought my camera along with me. Here are some of those shots.

Before leaving I had the idea with the glasses.

And home again!
