Desperation

8/25/2012

I could have named this a few different things. But instead of writing a super long paragraph about the photo, click on this and you can read the description: http://www.flickr.com/photos/noahsydnor/7856120908/in/photostream
I feel like I have spent enough time on digital manips, even though I have a lot to learn and improve, but I want to improve in taking photos, in a general aspect.. So from now on maybe I'll try to actually put "realistic" good photos up. I must say it's actually a whole lot easier to put an idea behind a photo when it's manipulated. This will be a challenge for me.

I call this one Moby Dick

Even though there's no whale in it, the water brings across my point, I hope. I've been working on this photo since yesterday! I messed a few times and hat to start over but that way I had more time to think about what exactly I wanted. And I learned a lot more this way. Well, there's not much more to say!

A little something...

..from Germany! I took these two at my grandma's and I love the flare. :) it was difficult with a pretty long exposure though, considering I was balancing it on my tummy (0.4s).

Mind goes blank.

8/20/2012

So basically what I'm trying to represent on the photo are the situations in which my mind just goes blank. Other than that it also displays my two favorite things to do, music and photography. My camera doesn't like high ISO's. I mean, look at the grain - and I had the ISO set to 800! Then again the lighting was super poor and I feel bad for not making that better. Anyway, all in all it was very fun. There's plenty of blemishes but, what more do you expect. :)

I like it in black and white too.

Home, sweet Home.

Finally home! Now just procrastinating the unpacking.. it's a habit I've been forming lately.
A week with my grandma was great (apart from twisting my ankle) but there's a point when it's just too much. Or too little. I really didn't do much. I'm glad I'm home though.
