Languages

2/12/2011

I often wish that there was just one language in the whole world.. like English for example. Then I wouldn't have to learn other languages like French. Now THAT would make it a lot easier to live here and to hang out with friends.. everyday things. I really like working on my bike, because I feel like I'm accomplishing something, of course when I do math I'm also accomplishing something but it's not as fun. -period- end of discussion.

So I was looking at some jokes today and this one seemed pretty funny:

A couple of New Jersey hunters are out in the woods when one of them falls to the ground. He doesn't seem to be breathing, his eyes are rolled back in his head. The other guy whips out his cell phone and calls the emergency services. He gasps to the operator: “My friend is dead! What can I do?”
The operator, in a calm soothing voice says: “Just take it easy. I can help. First, let's make sure he's dead.” There is a silence, then a shot is heard.
The guy's voice comes back on the line. He says: “OK, now what?

First Post

2/11/2011

So this is my first post. I don't really know yet what I'm going to make out of this blog, considering it's my first blog too. I'm really into music.. any kind of music, and right now I'm listening to Lifehouse
Today I basically just did school, got all my homework finished (yes I am home schooled) and then played some basket ball with my brother.

Often what people think of the world or countries that they haven't been to is totally irrelevant, very stereo-typed.. but often you can't help to think otherwise because you haven't experienced it or haven't lived through it. People from different countries think different and live different.. if you have never lived in another country, how can you know what its like? You can't really, and I personally don't think that there is a person that thinks just like the other, so if you hear from someone that it is really great in (random) country-and you believe it.. then I think that that is stereotyped. You can't always expect it to be like your friend said it was, because it might be even better for you, or not as good..
Thats just my opinion.
And come to think of it.. That whole thing was rather random
